Angry Ginge – real name: Morgan Burtwistle – has been winning the hearts of viewers on this season of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, forming an unexpectedly close bond with Ruby Wax (who is five decades his senior) and showing his emotional side on more than one occasion. The streamer has also ruffled a few feathers in the jungle, though. Last week, Angry Ginge found himself at the centre of dish-gate (or, should we say rice-in-mug-gate?) and also caused controversy when he, Aitch, and Kelly Brook helped themselves to the sweets won during the Dingo Dollars challenge.

But perhaps Ginge's cheekiness on that front shouldn't have come as such a surprise. Earlier this year, the 24-year-old was arrested on suspicion of causing £30K of criminal damage and spent a night in jail, which he later described as "traumatising".

Back in July, the I'm A Celeb star was accused of causing thousands of pounds worth of damage to a classic F1 car Silverstone. He and two friends (fellow YouTubers Chazza and SamHam) were livestreaming at the British Grand Prix site and filmed themselves laughing as Chazza attempted to squeeze into the cockpit of an F1 car on display. They were later approached by officers from Northamptonshire Police and arrested before being released without further action.

Taking to social media to tell fans about what happened, Ginge said on YouTube the trio were held in a jail cell overnight for 15 hours. "I'm genuinely traumatised," he told his followers. Ginge went on to deny causing any damage to the vehicle, but admitted he wasn't allowed to return to Silverstone for the rest of the event as a result.

In response, a spokesperson for Silverstone confirmed the YouTuber had been issued with a trespass notice due to anti-social behaviour. Northamptonshire Police, meanwhile, said the three men had been released following "a thorough investigation into the circumstances of the incident". Damage to the car – thought to have been caused by someone climbing into it – was estimated to have cost several thousand pounds to repair.
