Prince William and Kate Middleton have been spending some time over in Northern Ireland, meeting sustainable farmers and organisations (such as the fire services) who offer exciting work opportunities for young people from rural areas – and amongst all this work, a sweet moment between the pair hasn't gone unnoticed.
In recent years, we've seen a couple of sneaky public displays of affection pass between the couple which is a pretty big break from royal protocol – given their engagements with the public are technically work... it's not the most professional to be touchy-feely in 'the office' – and this latest trip provided another.
As the future King and Queen explored a fire engine, Kate placed a loving hand on the base of William's back, in a natural moment of affection. V cute!
The move has since been branded a prime example of how the couple's relationship has evolved since the Princess received a cancer diagnosis last year, and one royal expert, Ingrid Seward, author and editor-in-chief of Majesty magazine, said (via Vanity Fair), "They seem stronger than ever [...] You certainly notice that they are very tactile and happy to show it."
The royals have recently survived what Prince William described as "brutal" year, following health shocks for both the Princess and King Charles, who is still receiving treatment.
"I'd say 2024 was the hardest year I've ever had," the royal confessed during a new episode of Eugene Levy's travel series, when the pair chatted in a pub after a tour of Windsor Castle. "You know, life is sent to test us as well, and being able to overcome that is what makes us who we are."

It echoes comments made last November, in which Prince William said: "Honestly, it's been dreadful. It's probably been the hardest year in my life. Trying to get through everything and keep everything on track has been really difficult."
"I'm so proud of my wife, I'm proud of my father, for handling the things that they have done, but from a personal family point of view, it's been, yeah, it's been brutal."
Here's to much happier times ahead with plenty more PDA, as the couple's bond looks deeper than ever.
