Just hours after the second instalment of Netflix's explosive Harry & Meghan documentary dropped, the Royal Family gathered at Westminster Abbey for a Christmas carol concert. At the event, Prince William spoke of "togetherness" over the festive season, whilst Kate Middleton took to the piano to show off her musical talents – later admitting that she needs to take some singing lessons.
"On the piano you can slightly hide away a bit more than you can do singing," she said to one of the concert's attendees. "Actually my children probably wouldn’t forgive me – I’m not sure whether they think I’ve got a particularly good singing voice. I’ll have to have some lessons."
Over on social media, the Prince and Princess of Wales shared a string of photos from the evening, including a sweet shot of Kate high-fiving a young royal fan. "Thank you to everyone who has helped make #TogetherAtChristmas so special," the caption of the post read. "It was fantastic to celebrate inspiring individuals and outstanding organisations with you all."
Last year, Kate's piano recital at the same Christmas carol event really got people talking, with reports suggesting she'd broken royal protocol by doing so. But that's not all it broke. In fact, her performance also broke royal records on Instagram too, with a clip of the moment becoming the most viewed royal video at the time, racking up over 11 million views on William and Kate's official Instagram account. Impressive.
