San Diego Comic-Con 2019 has undoubtedly been the queerest yet, with so many announcements filling LGBTQ+ fans hearts' with pure, gay joy. Apart from the absolutely life-changing revelation that Tessa Thompson's bisexual character Valkyrie in Thor: Love and Thunder will be "looking for her Queen", we've been treated to some other huge bisexual news in the form of the Westworld season 3 trailer.
With the third season of the HBO show coming out in 2020, Comic-Con saw a brand new trailer giving way more about about the upcoming series. And along with a bunch of other important details about where the story's going to go (Nazi Germany, FFS), it looks like there's going to be a whole lot of queer stuff going down.
The trailer shows Tessa Thompson and Evan Rachel Wood - both bisexual IRL I hasten to add - spooning. In bed. Snuggled up and cute as if it's the most natural thing in the world. And has a one-second clip ever made a bunch of people so excited in their entire lives? If you want to skip straight to the spooning action, it's about 1 minute 36 seconds into the trailer above.
Tessa Thompson posted a still from the trailer on her Instagram, and yep. That's the sexiest damn robot spoon you've ever seen. Evan also commented, "Little [spoon emoji]".
The trailer also shows Evan kneeling in front of Tessa, which no one can deny is big bisexual energy.
And as per, queer Twitter is excited.
Everyone's clicking on...
And while some people are losing their shit, others are hoping this isn't just another classic case of queerbaiting [where it's implied characters are LGBTQ+ but we never actually get to see any receipts].
Naturally, fans have been shipping this for a while.
We're keeping every limb crossed that the spooning scene is just the tip of the queer iceberg in Westworld season 3.
