We order: Seabass tartare and chicken supreme

The Mistress of Mayfair’s ‘Moi et Toi’ brunch is a Parisian-inspired treat tucked beneath the streets of St. James’s. From the moment you step inside, the stunning interiors set the tone for a chic, indulgent experience. I started with the seabass tartare, delicate and flavourful, followed by the perfectly cooked chicken supreme, while the Paris‑Brest dessert was nothing short of sensational.

Drinks flowed effortlessly throughout, with bottomless options including Prosecco, rosé, and even Ruinart Champagne for those wanting to go all out. The three-course menu beautifully fuses classic French technique with Mediterranean flair, making each dish as elegant as it is delicious. Stylish, sophisticated, and undeniably Instagram-worthy, the ‘Moi et Toi’ brunch is a must-visit for anyone seeking a glamorous weekend dining experience in the heart of Mayfair.

Hutong

diverse array of asianinspired dishes with a view of the london skyline
Aqua Shard Group

Nearest tube station: London Bridge

Where to find them: 33rd floor of the Shard, 31 St Thomas St, London SE1 9RY

We order: Ma La Beef Tenderloin and Black Truffle Fried Noodles

If you love Chinese food and a gorgeous view, of the city, then you need to get yourself to Hutong’s Dynasty Brunch. Perched on the 33rd floor of The Shard, this is the kind of weekend plan that feels a little bit fancy, but still full of fun - think: skyline views, the soft glow of lanterns, resident DJs setting the vibe, and a three-course sharing feast that seriously delivers.

You kick things off with a round of free-flowing starters - crispy spring rolls, melt-in-your-mouth wontons, shredded beef, and more. For mains, you pick one per person (I went for the beef tenderloin - 10/10 recommend), plus a side to share. We had the black truffle noodles because... truffle. Dessert is also included - the mango pudding and mandarin sorbet combo was a refreshing finish.

And if you're feeling extra (which we were), you can upgrade to the signature roasted duck pancakes - carved right at your table, super juicy, and worth every penny (£70 for half a duck for 2-3 people, or £120 for a whole duck for the table). There's also the spicy, crispy Red Lantern soft-shell crab - ideal for sharing (or not, no judgement).

Throw in bottomless cocktails, Champagne or beer, and honestly? It’s a brunch that turns into a bit of an occasion.

The Little Violet Door, Carnaby

Nearest tube station: Oxford Circus

Where to find them: 9 Kingly St, Carnaby, London W1B 5PH

We order: The buttermilk pancakes with Blackcurrants, Torched Peach, Rose and Peach Syrup with Creme Fraiche

The Little Violet Door is the latest branch of the various-coloured-door hot spots popping up across London. Each of its branches is styled to look like you’re dining at a kooky flatshare, with loads of shared dining spaces which often times bring you together with strangers.

The experience makes up a huge part of the experience here, but the food and drink impresses, also. As mentioned, the pancakes are stunning, and so is the classique brunch dish of poached eggs on toast. It comes with three options, one of which coming with Bacon, Guacamole, Oyster Mushrooms, Aleppo Red Chilli Flakes and Coriander, making it that little bit more elevated than your average avocado and bacon on toast.

The bottomless offering has Aprerol Spritzers included, as well as a very strong rum punch, rose, larger or prosexy, and we could mix & match these too, as we fancied. The bottomless drinks are charged as £25 on top of whatever brunch dish you opt for, which are surprisingly incredibly cheap for the central London location, starting from only £9.50 (a dragonfruit granola bowl) with the most expensive item standing at £13.50 (the smoked salmon, poached eggs & avo on sourdough).

Mama Shelter

Where to find them: 437 Hackney Rd, London E2 8PP

We order: Smoked salmon royale, veggie benedict, avocado on toast

Mama Shelter is the perfect answer to a more relaxed-yet-sophisticated bottomless brunch. It's cool and effortless interiors means its the perfect place to get a little boozy with your best mates, and still feel cool while doing it. The plush sofas with cushions galore, painted ceilings, and wide open space are very East London, and are home to not only bottomless-brunchers, but also weekend-laptop-warriors, families meeting for a coffee, and groups of ladies celebrating bdays (not to mention they're dog friendly).

The food was easily the star of the show here. Hefty portions of the salmon royale were delicious (and so necessary for soaking up the free flowing bubbles) , and each dish came with the most perfectly cooked french fries - think McDonald's but better. One thing to note is that this is not the best place for any vegan diners as the choices are slim to none. One member of our party was stuck only with avocado on toast (which was not even on the brunch menu initially). If you've drank enough of their bottomless mimosas, then you may be tempted to book one of their karaoke rooms too...
