By Arriving at the airport before a holiday is arguable quite fun, because it's universally acceptable to drink alcohol at any time of the day.
But, this could soon end with new legislation looking to prevent the legal loophole that allows airport bars and pubs to stay open past drinking hours.
If introduced, the move could restrict the sale of alcohol to passengers just before they board flights, potentially putting an end to early-morning drinks for holidaymakers.
The Home Office is apparently considering an extension of the Licensing Act 2003 by the Home Office to include bars and pubs at terminals, ending rules which currently allow them to operate outside UK licensing laws. It would also give them the ability to close down bars that breached the limits.
It is expected to begin assessing the impact of implementing the Licensing Act 2003 on airside premises – as recommended in a Lords committee report – in a few weeks.
It comes after a House of Lords report in 2017 found disruptive incidents on flights "more often than not" involved passengers who had had alcohol before boarding.

The Home Office says passengers should be able to enjoy their holidays without having their flight disrupted by "a small minority of people".
A Home Office spokesman added that there were already "tough penalties" in place for drunkenness on an aircraft: "You can be imprisoned for up to two years or given an unlimited fine. Pilots also have the power to issue the removal of passengers from the plane if they are drunk and the safety of the aircraft or its passengers is threatened."
Encouraged by the move, The Chief Executive of Airlines UK, Tim Alderslade said: "All the evidence does show that this is a problem that is only getting worse.
"The number of incidents of poor behaviour on board flights is increasing year on year and we need to work together to get a handle on it as soon as possible."
