If you asked us to name two of our favourite things, gin and tonic and chocolate would undoubtedly be the first words to come out of our mouths.

Which is why we're falling over ourselves to order this year's hottest Easter egg around. It's from Marks and Spencer, who are also behind the gin baubles at Christmas, and quite frankly, we've never been more grateful for a supermarket.

Along with gin-flavoured chocolate, the Gin & Ton-Egg also comes with pink gin-flavoured chocolate buttons, and if you shake the egg up, it sounds just like ice cubes in a cocktail shaker. Incredible. We NEED.

Thankfully it's a good time to be alive if you're a gin lover. Not only are there heaps of flavoured gins to enjoy, but there's also lots of other things we love flavoured with gin.

This isn't the first gin easter egg we've seen, for example. This posh egg by the Edinburgh Gin Distillery includes a miniature of rhubarb-flavoured gin. And last year we were drooling over Prestat's lemon chocolate easter egg filled with London gin truffles.

If the Gin and Tonic flavour doesn't appeal to you (WHO ARE YOU?), there are loads of other options this year. Maybe you're after a big fancy egg, like the thick-walled ones at Hotel Chocolat, or a vegan Easter egg which have been taste-tested by our Hearst Institute.
