Pack your bags everyone, we're going back to school – only this time, instead of studying maths and geography, we're learning about gin. THE DREAM.
If you've ever wondered exactly what goes in to creating the perfect G&T, then you'll be excited to know a new Gin School has launched and, unsurprisingly, bookings are filling up fast.
The Listoke Gin School, located in a distillery near Drogheda in Ireland, will open every Saturday to teach students the art of gin-making – and there will be G&T refreshments while you swot up on your juniper-based knowledge.
Attendees will start their lessons learning about the history of the estate and its distilling heritage, before moving on to design their own personal gin.
As well as being educated in gin profiles and botanicals, students can actually distill their own concoction, which they then get to take home and drink – now that's our kind of homework!
A day at the Gin School costs approx. £81 per person. For more information, check out the Listoke Distillery website here.
Count us in.
