Yields:
1
Total Time:
5 mins
Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. thick salted caramel sauce (we used Bonne Maman)
- ice
- 100 ml whole milk
- 1 shot of espresso or 1 tsp espresso-style instant coffee made up with 2 tbsp boiling water
- 1 tsp. Monin caramel coffee syrup
- pinch flaky sea salt
Directions
- Step 1Heat the salted caramel sauce in the microwave for 15-30 seconds until runny. Drizzle around the inside of a tall heat-safe glass.
- Step 2Fill the glass with ice. Using a hand-held electric milk frother, make the cold milk light and frothy. Alternatively, you can use an electric whisk. Pour the foam into the glass over the ice.
- Step 3Stir together the coffee and the caramel syrup and pour down the side of the glass. It should sit in visible layers. Drizzle a little extra caramel sauce with a small pinch of flaky sea salt over the top if you’d like and serve immediately.
