While we love a good cocktail drinking them can be an expensive habit and, try as we might, our at-home concoctions just never taste as good as the real thing.
Which is why we're so interested in Lidl's new range of pre-mixed cocktails, which each bottle coming in at under a tenner.
The range includes a delicious, bitter-sweet Negroni and rich, creamy Espresso Martini, with both cocktails coming pre-mixed and ready to pour, right from the comfort of your own home.
The retailer decided to launch the products to celebrate the 100-year-anniversary of the classic cocktail, picking out two classic and distinctive cocktails for its customers.
A classic Italian aperitif, the Negroni combines Brit's beloved gin with bitter Campari and sweet vermouth, and is nice and simple to serve with out a few cubes of ice and a swirl of orange.
With the bottled Espresso Martini – the delicious combination of coffee, vodka and coffee liqueur – all you have to do is give it a little shake, before straining into a chilled Martini glass.
Everyone's clicking on...
Each cocktail comes in a 500ml bottle, which wouldn't look out of place in even the most discerning of drinker's drinks cabinet. Set to save you a lot of cocktail money, each bottle costs £9.99, and with five servings in each that works out at just £1.99 a glass.
Just in time for the weekend, both pre-mixed cocktails will be available in store from 21 March – and we can't wait to get our stockpile on!
