If you fancy a midweek tipple, but know the planned one glass will inevitably turn into three, Aldi’s wine aisle has a new release you need.
The bargain supermarket, known for its award winning wines, is now stocking half bottles of white, red and rosé wine.
Costing just £2.49 for 37.5 cl bottles, they’re perfect if you know stopping at half a bottle is a wishful dream. Whether you’re fresh out of dry January and want to cut back on the booze, are the only wine drinker in your house or just fancy a smaller bottle, these bottles are a must for your drinks cabinet.
Available in store now, the half bottle wines are all new to Aldi. You can choose from the Italian Rosé, described as a light rosé with flavours of wild berries, a Chilean Sauvignon Blanc if you're a white wine fan or a smooth Argentinian Malbec if you fancy a glass of red.
If you're fond of Aldi’s Exquisite Collection Mâcon-Villages Burgundy, you can now buy it in mini 18.7cl bottles. This white wine, which has won silver at the International Wine and Spirit Competition, is a steal at just £1.99.
