If you weren't already wishing away the days until Easter weekend (HELLO Bank Holidays!), you will be after seeing Marks and Spencer's Salted Caramel and Chocolate Hot Cross Buns.

We haven't even tasted them yet and we're already obsessed.

Say hello to M&S's Salted Caramel Hot Cross Bunspinterest
M&S

It might currently be January 183rd, but the supermarket is looking ahead to April, stocking their shelves with Spring favourites. The packet reads, "4 Salted Caramel & Chocolate Hot Cross Buns with dark Belgian chocolate chips, salted caramel fudge and toffee pieces. FRUIT FREE."

Unsurprisingly, they've already received a rave response on social media, with one person writing, "think we need these sound much better than normal hot cross buns šŸ˜" and another adding, "Oh my lord and they say ā€œfruit freeā€ I need these!"

The hot cross buns cost £1.70 for a packet of four, or £1 before Saturday 3rd February, with spokesperson Sadia Usman from M&S commenting, "Our customers love to try exciting new flavours, and the Hot Cross Bun is no exception. This week only you can grab a pack for just £1, the perfect opportunity to find your favourite."

Well that's our main food group sorted.
