While some people might try to tell you Christmas is about spending time with your family and friends, we all know it's mainly about the snacks. Specifically, After Eights.
So what better way to celebrate the festive period than with an eight ingredient no-bake After Eight cheesecake? Created by Jane's Patisserie, the minimum-faff cheesecake combines creamy chocolate cheesecake with a thick biscuit base, topped with cream swirls and sprinkles.
Literally yum.
The recipe combines After Eights with cream cheese, icing sugar, double cream, dark chocolate, vanilla extract, digestives and butter, and tastes even more delicious than it looks.
Speaking about developing the recipe, Jane explained her decision to use dark chocolate rather than milk, which makes the "perfect partner" in the creamy cheesecake with the minty flavour. She commented, "I decided to use dark chocolate in the chocolatey mix because it gives it a delicious flavour. You can use milk if you prefer, but honestly, dark is SO much better.
"After Eight themselves use dark chocolate on the coating, and when you mix the dark chocolate with the other ingredients its a lot sweet than you think. It makes the perfect partner to the minty mix also!"
Everyone's clicking on...
That's Christmas pudding sorted, then.
