This Easter Creme Egg fans are being treated to a brand new dessert creation by Cadbury.

Yep, they've only gone and created a Creme Egg TRIFLE.

Cadbury's 'Layers of Joy' is described as 'A layered sharing dessert with Cadbury milk chocolate dessert, chocolate mouse, chocolate chip cookie and fondant dessert with a creamy topping'.

And it sounds delish. Mostly because unlike other trifles it has replaced the fruit with some chocolate, the custard with some more chocolate and the cream with that gooey, creme egg goodness. It also looks like a gigantic fried Creme Egg which makes us want it more.

Apparently, buying one of these heavenly Easter treats will set you back just £3.50 in most major supermarkets, which quite frankly sounds like a bargain to us.

Although not everyone is as excited about the dessert as we are...

Everyone's clicking on...

The one query we have over Cadbury's new pud? We're pretty sure we could eat the whole thing in one sitting without sharing a single forkful!

This new dessert news comes hot off the heels of the revelation that Creme Eggs will be available in white chocolate form this year - I know, mega.

The white chocolate treats will be released into various participating stores camouflaged as a classic Cadbury Creme Egg, so you'll have to be very lucky (or just buy a lot of Creme Eggs) in order to have a chance of finding one.

I don't know about you, but we're up to the challenge.
