It feels like so long ago we were embracing the new season autumn/winter fashion trends. Our enthusiasm at being reunited with our favourite black boots and snuggly faux fur coats has just about worn off and we're well and truly fed up of freezing in single-digit temperatures. However, with another three months left of winter at least, we need ot inject a little excitement back into our wardrobes. And the easiest way to do that is with jewellery.

Of course, the autumn/winter 2025 runways were full of standout bejewelled moments from brooches adorning, well, pretty much everything, to fresh modern takes on pearls. But if you're after the winter jewellery trends that will provide that all-important finishing touch to your cold-weather outfits – not to mention jazzing up your party looks – then you're in luck as we've curated just that, below.
Collar necklaces
After long cord necklaces reigned supreme in the summer months, necklaces are now sitting comfortably across your collarbones. See Bella Hadid at Saint Laurent for the exact length we're talking about. Not counting any charms, pendants or adornments, your necklace should be no longer than the collar of your crewneck jumper. And that's exactly how you should style them – atop your favourite knitwear to add a little glitz and glam that's perfect for party season. Sorry to your LBD, but it's all about festive knitwear right now.
Look-at-me earrings
They say the bigger the better, and that certainly applies to this winter's earring aesthetic. Look to the Alaïa, Acne Studios and Saint Laurent runways for inspiration, or perhaps even Pat Butcher and her door-knocker ear dazzlers. We love a hoop as much as the next girl, but stick to oversized and sculptural studs that add texture and shape to really nail this look.
Mixed metals
If you've so far resisted trying out the mixed metal trend, consider this your sign to give it a go. While jewellery brands from Missoma to Mejuri offer gold and silver entwined pieces, there's no reason you can't raid your jewellery box and layer up necklaces, bracelets and rings in different finishes to curate your own mixed metal stylised look. Colour analysis expert, Lily Rodd from Colour By Lily, advises, “Letting your correct undertone lead,” when mixing different jewellery tones yourself.
“If silver suits you best, make silver the anchor and add small touches of gold. If you’re warm and suit gold, lead with gold and add silver sparingly. This keeps everything balanced and intentional,” she explains. This will also help ease you in if you're unsure at first. Far from a fashion faux-pas, it's now officially considered the height of sartorial style.
Antique finishes
From the engraved pendant necklaces at Chloé to the coin bracelets at Balmain, the autumn/winter 2025 runways took inspiration from vintage treasures. When replicating this trend IRL, there's nothing more satisfying than hunting flea markets for unique pieces with a story. Or, turn to independent jewellery brands like Laura Vann, whose art deco rings do just this, and Carrie Elizabeth, whose recent collaboration with Louise Thompson perfectly embodies this feel. There doesn't need to be any great narrative beyond you saw it and liked it.
More is more
We continue to move away from the quiet luxury aesthetic and the slim-stack jewellery standard to embrace a maximilist mentality that mixes textures, silhouettes and of course metals (have you been paying attention?!). Take a collar necklace or choker and layer it with your go-to chains; stack your bracelets and bangles up your arms, positioning a tennis bracelet, bangle, chainlink design and potentially a beaded style too alongisde your watch; don a ring on every finger like the models at the Céline Resort 2026 show, or stack multiple up on one digit like at Rabanne AW25. Party season is your excuse to rival the disco ball and sparkle!
