We’ll be the first to admit that we’ve spent an embarrassing number of hours scouring the internet for a good lookalike of Bottega Veneta's iconic drop style earrings. Yep, we've basically been drooling over these gorgeous sculptural hoops since last year, and after seeing them FROW of all the fashion weeks, it’s official: this chunky earring style is not just a ‘want,’ but an actual need.

There is one slight problemo though. Bottega Veneta's original pair (AKA the real deal) will set you back a steep £590 or even £880 (!!), if you wanna go all out with the XL, oversized style.

Yikes. Now you know why we've been obsessed with finding a cute lookalike...

Thankfully, the high street has come to the rescue and supplied us with some designer-inspired studs that look the most-like Bottega’s drop earrings we have seen to date.

First up, we have to shout out Amazon for some seriously impressive lookalikes at (probably) the cheapest price you will find. Seriously: at a fashion press dinner the other day (in a room full of people “in the know”) one journo couldn’t even tell the difference between the designer version she was wearing and Amazon's gorge take on the trend, worn by the gal in the seat opposite her.

Haven’t heard the hype about Bottega's drop earrings? Let us show you all the way the A-listers have been rocking their sets recently.

It’s no secret that Hailey Bieber loves a statement earring – in both gold and silver. Hailz opted for the smaller iteration of the designer jewels in a recent IG post, pairing them with cute pig-tails, a matching gold chain and laid-back varsity tee.

Surprise, surprise! Mrs Biebs ain’t the only celeb who’s accessorised with the chunky style. Both Kylie and Kendall Jenner own a pair of Bottega’s drop style – as do Dua Lipa and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. We told you we'd seen them EVERYWHERE.

Gosh, after seeing them on those gorge gals we want them even more. If you’re in the same boat get yourself on Amazon ASAP, and grab them at the bargain price of £9.99. That’s more than £800 cheaper than the designer version. No girl math needed here, ppl.

These chunky studs are available in both gold and silver versions and are really lightweight, so you don’t have to worry about them pulling on your ears. In fact, we wouldn’t blame you if you were to wear these babies all day everyday. We certainly have been!

Feeling inspired by the sculptural earring trend? Check out this statement pair from one of our fave jewellery brands Mejuri. The brand’s Mega Dôme Earrings are perf if you’re looking to spend a lil’ bit more to achieve that bold hoop look, but are not quite ready to splurge on designer jewels.

But if only the real deal will do, we’ve popped Bottega’s designer drop earrings below. They are a design classic, after all. Maybe you could get a pair for a special bday? But if we were you, we’d still buy a less spenny set to wear out and about. Losing a £600 pair of earrings on a night out is not the one...

Alas, we don’t think our bank accounts are quite ready to be hit with that. Which is why we’re looking out now more than ever for even more amazing lookalikes on the high street and from our fave affordable jewellery brands. Most of which come in both gold and silver iterations, so whatever your metal preference you're sure to find something that catches your eye. Take a peek...
