With more and more high street brands removing their plus size lines from store and stocking them online only, I had to take a moment to shout out good old Marks & Spencer. Who, in my opinion, are absolutely smashing it when it comes to plus-size fashion options.
To be clear, I'm not talking about their specific plus-size range: Curve. I'm talking about their 'regular' women's line, which is available up to a size 24. Not only is this way more inclusive than any other high street retailer, but more importantly, these sizes are actually available in-store.
I tend to do pretty much all my shopping online, but whilst on the hunt for a cheeky Dine for Two, I found myself completely distracted, not by my favourite Belgian chocolate milkshake, but by the rails and rails of clothes options.
From jumpsuits, pleated leather skirts, chunky jumpers and maxi dresses, to checkered mini skirts that made me desperately want to channel my inner Cher Horowitz. And, pretty much every rail has sizing options ranging from 8-24.
In fact, I've become so M&S obsessed that I haven't even looked on my old faithful ASOS Curve website for months. Plus, my new M&S purchases have been getting me all the compliments. Like this cream Autograph jumper, which made me feel like an actual celebrity when I walked into work wearing it for the first time.
While I patiently wait for pay day to update my wardrobe and do my next M&S raid, I thought I'd share a few of the things that have caught my eye recently.
