All the details on Miley Cyrus' stunning engagement ring, including diamond size and estimated cost

After just over four years of dating, Miley Cyrus and Maxx Morando are officially engaged! The couple soft-launched their engagement at the L.A. premiere of Avatar: Fire and Ash (which features Miley’s new original song, “Dream as One”), and soon after, a source for Page Six confirmed that the impressive diamond on Miley’s left ring finger was, in fact, an engagement ring.

Speaking of her ring, we've got all the details on the custom-made design from jewellery designer Jacquie Aiche. It features a cushion-cut stone set in a 14-karat yellow gold band, and in short is totally stunning.

As Blue Nile’s VP of merchandising, Daniela Tarantino, tells Cosmo, the ring appears to be a “chunky gold east-west bezel set ring” (similar to Dua Lipa’s ring!), adding that it looks to be “roughly a 4- to 5-carat modified cushion” costing between “$300K and $450K.” Not too shabby!

For the record, this isn’t the first time Miley has sported her new jewellery. On her 33rd birthday last month, she posted a two-image carousel to Instagram, and the second pic featured her ring on proud display – but most fans totally missed it. (Also: the pics seem to have been taken on the same night Maxx’s dad took his pics!)

And if you’re thinking, ‘Um, I didn’t even know Miley was dating anyone??’ then let me get you caught up to speed. She and the drummer first sparked dating rumours in November 2021, when they showed up at a Gucci event looking *very* coupley. The artist revealed they were actually first set up on a blind date. “Well, it was blind for me and not really for him,” Cyrus told British Vogue in 2023. “I thought, ‘The worst that can happen is I leave.’”

By March 2022, Miley and Maxx were a confirmed couple, with a source telling Us Weekly, “It’s a new relationship. They’re still getting to know each other at the moment. They are having fun and have been spending a lot of time together.”

The two have only grown closer since then, and though Miley rarely talks about her low-key relationship, she did recently gush about Maxx to The Cut, calling him “a person who means a lot to me and treats me really well and respects me.”
