Huge congratulations to Jade Thirlwall! The former Little Mixer (although once a Little Mixer, always a Little Mixer, IMO) who is now going solely by her forename just won her first BRIT Award as a solo artist at the 2025 BRIT Awards. The artist scooped the prize for Pop Act after releasing her debut solo single ‘Angel of My Dreams’ in July 2024 to much critical acclaim. Not to mention us playing it constantly on repeat.

Jade arrived on the red carpet earlier in the evening in a show-stopping denim dress by Diesel that could easily have doubled for a wedding dress. Albeit for an edgy, fashion bride. The dress in question featured a corseted bodice with a voluminous skirt complete with a floor-sweeping train. 3D flowers constructed from fraying fabric formed the sleeves and collar of the bridal-esque gown and coordinated with the trailing bouquet the artist clutched in her hands.

A delicate silver chain necklace with multiple diamond pendants was her only other accessory. While the outfit was an obvious recreation of her ‘Angel of My Dreams’ music video attire, the faded, washed-out denim hue paired with her icy blue eyeshadow, the look was also giving Corpse Bride – in the best way possible.

The size of her dress did cause a couple of issues during the ceremony as Jade struggled to gather her skirt up so as not to trip up the stairs as she made her way to the stage.

When she was able to accept her award, she delivered an emotional acceptance speech that included a shout-out to her former bandmates as she said, “My Little Mix sisters, I love you so much. I wouldn’t have this award without them and I’m so grateful.”

Congrats, Jade!
