The cutout trend is, hands down, one of my favourite details to see enter the wardrobes of celebrities over the last few seasons. And, far from being embraced in a 'one-size-fits-all' fashion, different A-listers have added their own signature spin to the look. For example, Julia Fox leans towards a more dramatic take on the trend, at one point using negative space details so enthusiastically that she transformed her dress into more of a bikini. Then, on the other side of the spectrum, is Millie Bobby Brown, who prefers a more dainty cutout (as seen in her 18th birthday outfit). Now, Kim Kardashian's just gone and repped her newest take on the same trend, this time in the form of a little black dress (also known as a 'LBD').
Overnight, Kim took to Instagram to share an #OOTD style post with her 322 million followers. The snaps in question, taken from what looks like a bathroom on a private yacht (anyone else getting Below Deck vibes right now?), are a total vibe.
The Kardashian, who's wearing a long sleeve and high-neck little black dress, looks like she's about to attend a red carpet event. But this isn't just any LBD. In addition to featuring a killer thigh-high split, Kim's dress also has a daring cut-out panel on one hip, created by a single knot that joins the front and back of the number at the top of the thigh. I could sit here and describe the dress to you in more detail, but you've really got to just see it for yourself.
Kim, who captions the post "Into the blue" - great movie, by the way - finishes the outfit with her blonde hair worn up save for a few wispy face-framing strands.
Fans and celebrity mates alike are very here for her latest dress, with Paris Hilton commenting "๐๐". Other followers echoed Paris' thoughts, writing:

Gahhh you are beautiful
