Y2K nostalgia is bringing back a whole load of unsuspecting fashion trends, for better or worse. From low-rise trousers and halterneck tops, to waterfall hems and copious butterfly motifs - you'd be forgiven for thinking you'd accidentally stepped back into 2002. But one trend we (read: I) didn't think would make a comeback this time around was oversized, human fly-esque sunglasses. You know, the kind that became synonymous with Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian? Alas, it appears I was sorely mistaken.

To celebrate Kylie Jenner and Anastasia Karanikolaou's (AKA Stassie) new Kylie Cosmetics collaboration, the besties have been serving some killer campaign pics. Chances are, you've already seen the duo sporting matching vinyl bodysuits - amazing. Now, in the latest snaps to emerge on Instagram, the duo are repping matching pairs of the divisive sunglass style.

"STASSIE x KYLIE collection officially live NOW!!!!!" writes Stassie in her caption. "kyliecosmetics.com to shop!!!! WOOOHOOO 💕☺️ @kyliecosmetics @kyliejenner"

In the pics, Ky and Stas are wearing matching, long-sleeve ivory mini dresses, with tiny top handle bags and strappy heels. Well, Stassie is wearing a single heel, with her other foot in a cast (iconic). And, yep, then there are those white-framed oversized sunglasses. See the 'fits for yourself:

To be fair, if anyone can make a case for bringing back a trend like this, it's Ky and Stas, right?

Oh and, for anyone who missed it, here are those vinyl looks we mentioned earlier:
