Dua Lipa's 2022 Grammys dress is one for the history books. Yup, you read that right. While it comes as no surprise that the singer is one of the best dressed on the red carpet (as has become something of a tradition for Dua), at this year's awards show she went and took things to a whole other level. So, 'what did she do', you ask? Well, she arrived wearing an iconic vintage Versace dress, once worn by Cindy Crawford.
I'll be honest, my heart wasn't quite expecting a fashion moment as legendary as this to kick off the week, but here we are. Dua looked almost unrecognisable at first, arriving at the 64th annual Grammy Awards in a black, bondage-style dress with a long platinum blonde hair. But, as soon as your eyes have adjusted to the fact that it is in fact her, fashion fans will instantly recognise her designer look.
The strappy situation consists of a semi-sheer corset situation up top, with overlapping leather straps around the torso, bust and neck. Then, from the waist down, it turns into a sleek black maxi dress. Dua finished the look with lashings of gold jewellery, which perfectly match the hardware details on her dress.

Amazing, right? Right.
And here's Cindy Crawford wearing the exact same dress to the MTV Video Music Awards back in 1992:
Everyone's clicking on...
Recognise it?
Cindy's daughter, Kaia, also sported a verrrry similar dress for her 18th birthday, proving that this iconic moment really does live rent-free in our heads:
We love a vintage fashion throwback!
