It's no secret that H&M is one of the high street's main offenders when it comes to misrepresentative clothing sizes. In fact, I don't know anyone who has ever experienced anything resembling happiness in one of their changing rooms.
How do I know I'm not the only one squeezing their breasts into a 'uniboob' whilst trying to squeeze into an 'over-sized' shirt? Well, both my friends who all regularly discuss what a miserable shopping experience H&M is, and the Internet.
First there was Lowri Byrne who went viral on Facebook after sharing that she couldn't fit into a size 16 dress, despite being a size 12.
Then there was Samantha Bell who took to Twitter to share the ridiculous size difference between a pair of size 16 H&M jeans and a pair of size 16 Primark jeans.
Now, plus-size fashion, beauty and body positivity blogger - Lottie L'Amour - has shared her experience shopping in H&M with her girlfriend.
Lottie is a size 24 and her girlfriend Emma is a size 16, but despite being two sizes too big, Lottie found that a pair of size 28 denim shorts didn't fit her and instead just about fit size 16 Emma.

In June, H&M announced that it was taking steps to change their womenswear measurements, following customer feedback. But as Lottie pointed out, even their 'improved' measurements are below average.
H&M responded to Lottie's Tweets saying that they value all customer feedback and their sizes are continually being reviewed.
As a plus-size woman myself I know that it's practically impossible to find clothes on the high street, which is why we need more woman like Lottie to speak up and raise awareness of these ridiculous sizing inconsistencies.
