Former Lioness and now BBC Sports presenter Alex Scott has signed up for this year's I'm a Celebrity.

She added: "I will need to push myself to speak out around all of the different and big personalities. Not going into myself for being the shy one will be my big challenge.

"People see you on TV and they assume you are outgoing, that loud person but take me to red carpets or events and I am the one in the corner going, ‘Talk to me, please give me a plus one so I don’t have to be that person who walks in on my own.’ It’s going to be a challenge.”

Alex was the first contestant to be evicted, after the celebs went head-to-head in a trial and she, Aitch, Angry Ginge, Kelly Brook, Ruby Wax, Martin Kemp and Jack Osborne all faced eviction.
