Apple Cider Vinegar: Here's where you recognise the cast from

Hellooo Kaitlyn Dever

By

What did you do first thing this morning? Well if you're anything like us, you logged straight onto Netflix and began binge-watching their latest series Apple Cider Vinegar. The six-part series is inspired by the life of Belle Gibson, an Australian wellness influencer who gained a mass following, and worldwide success with the launch of her healthy eating app and recipe book, as she claimed her alternative diet had helped her with her cancer. Except, she'd never actually had cancer in the first place.

The series follows Belle, Milla, a woman who actually has cancer and is also promoting a healthy lifestyle to beat the illness, and Chanelle, Milla's best friend determined to show just who Belle really is. But they're not the only ones, here's everyone who is in the cast and a quick guide as to who they play:

The cast of Apple Cider Vinegar

  • Kaitlyn Dever as Belle Gibson - the series main character who builds up a mass following after claiming to have cured her brain cancer from healthy eating.
  • Alycia Debnam-Carey as Milla Blake - she's a young woman who gets diagnosed with cancer and tries to cure it with alternative therapies rather than traditional methods, and builds up a following because of this.
  • Aisha Dee as Chanelle - Milla's best friend, who returns from travelling and works with Milla and later Belle to build their brands.
  • Tilda Cobham-Hervey as Lucy - a barista who is diagnosed with breast cancer and is influenced by Milla and Belle to abandon traditional methods to help her with her diagnosis.
  • Mark Coles Smith as Justin - he's Lucy's husband and a journalist who begins investigating Belle and her claims about her cancer-curing diet.
  • Ashley Zukerman as Clive - he meets Belle early on in the series and they begin a chaotic relationship.
  • Phoenix Raei as Hek - Belle's crisis manager who tries to help her navigate her PR downfall.
  • Matt Nable as Joe - Milla's dad, who is less than thrilled with Milla's methods.
  • Susie Porter as Tamara - Milla's mum who is supportive of her daughter's methods and accompanies her to Mexico for treatment.
