Indian Matchmaking season 3: Are the couples still together?

Indian Matchmaking is back and better than ever for season three on Netflix, with even more drama, tears and love stories all thanks to Mumabi’s top matchmaker, Sima Taparia. The dating docuseries follows Sima - AKA Sima Aunty - as she tries to find a perfect match for south Asian singles looking for love, and she definitely had her work cut out for her this season.
From pickiness to icks and more, this season’s singletons weren’t easy to please but Sima Aunty did manage to match a few seemingly perfect pairs. So, are the couples from Indian Matchmaking season three still together? Here’s everything we know.
Priya and Vimal
Status: Together
Priya, a private chef and clinical chemist from London, sought the help of Sima Aunty after a tough divorce left her looking for love again.
She struggled to find a connection with her matches until she met Vim, who she bonded with over the love of cooking and travelling and the couple are still together!
Priya shared a super cute Instagram post of them after the series aired captioned "Sima Auntie understood the assignment," and we're so happy for them.
Arti and Jamal
Status: Still together
Miami-based Arti enlisted the skills of Sima Aunty to help find her a match after her father sadly passed away, as his wish was to see her happily settled down. She also said she just wanted someone to take her to Costco – relatable, sis.
After a few dates that didn’t work out, Arti then came across Jamal on a dating app. Turns out she didn’t need Sima Aunty after all! The pair hit it off straight away, and despite facing struggles due to their different cultural and religious backgrounds, Jamal got down on one knee and Arti said yes.
In a chat with Cosmopolitan UK, she shared that her and Jamal are very much still together and they've even taken the next step of moving in together. We can't wait for their wedding!
Viral and Aashay
Status: Not together
We first met Viral, a pharmaceutical developer from North Carolina, in season two on Indian Matchmaking. She rejected two of Sima Aunty’s proposed matches but that didn’t stop her from finding a connection with Aashay and we caught up with the couple again in season three.
But, we're sad to say that it looks like the couple are no longer together according to a recent Instagram post, where she wrote: "When things don’t go as planned, we usually question what went wrong. But remember, that is not the defining part of the relationship, and it is NOT the defining part of you.
"It’s the Universe telling you that better things are down the road, somewhere else, with someone else... I believe in a love that’s aligned with my values, beliefs, and mindset. I believe that I’ll meet it soon, with the grace and optimism of knowing what is meant to be," she continued. We hope they're both doing well!
Shital and Niraj
Status: Still together
Another couple from season two, Shital and Niraj, found their way into each others arms after she struggled to find a connection with any of Sima Aunty's matches.
In season three, we learned that things are going from strength to strength for the pair and their social media profiles are filled with cute snaps and videos of each other showing that they are definitely still together. Too cute!
