Which of the Friends stars want a reunion, and which ones DO NOT

In an interview with InStyle, Jen pined over her Friends days, hinting at a potential reunion. "I started to find my confidence when I was on Friends, for sure," she said. "In a way, being on that show was the ultimate trust exercise. There was comfort in numbers there, so we all held each other up.

"I miss a lot about that time. Having a job that was absolute, pure joy. I miss getting to be with people I love massively and respect beyond words. So, yes, these days I’m super nostalgic."

Nostalgic enough for a reunion, hm?

Matt LeBlanc refuses to sit on the fence when it comes to his feelings on a Friends reunion. He has said on numerous occasions he's just not interested in doing it.

He told Mail Online at the end of March: "I don’t want to do it – simple.”

He added: "People want to know what happened to them. But it was about a finite period in a person’s life after college, before you settle down and start a family. To go back and revisit all these years later, well I don’t know what the story would be now. They would all have moved on from that period so it just wouldn’t be the same.

"Put bluntly, I don’t think anybody wants to see an old Joey having a colonoscopy."

Before that, he also explained his reasons for not wanting a reunion.

"I think it's better for people to just leave it," Matt told 97.3FM Bianca, Terry & Bob. "I understand that people really want to see that reunion but that show was about a finite period in those characters' lives, between 20 and 30.

"To see what those characters are doing now, I think it's almost a case of that the book is better than the movie. Everyone's imagination of what they're doing now is better."

Could he be any less interested in a Friends reunion?

Matthew Perry has a pretty sad reason why he's not in the market for a Friends reunion.

He said in June 2017: “I have this recurring nightmare — I’m not kidding about this. When I’m asleep, I have this nightmare that we do Friends again and nobody cares.

“We do a whole series, we come back, and nobody cares about it. So if anybody asks me, I’m gonna say no. The thing is: we ended on such a high. We can’t beat it. Why would we go and do it again?”

When the fake Friends reunion film trailer started doing the rounds, Lisa Kudrow spoke to Conan O'Brien about the possibility of the Central Perk crew getting together one last time. And at first it sounds like she's into, then it doesn't...

Speaking about the fake trailer, which is made up of clips from Cougartown, Episodes and other shows in which the Friends cast have had guest spots, Lisa said: “I don’t know what to make of it. It’s these weird clips of things that clearly have nothing to do with Friends.”

She added that she can’t believe something like that could go viral, and said that “something should be done” in terms of a reunion though she added, “I don’t know what.

"They’re rebooting everything so how does that work with Friends though? That was about people in their 20s, 30s… the show isn’t about people in their 40s and 50s. And if we have the same problems, then that’s just sad."

And before that, Lisa was pretty clear on the fact that she wasn't up for it.

In an interview with Today‘s Savannah Guthrie last year, when asked if she wanted to do an reunion, she said: “Me personally? No. But we have convened, privately, for dinner, and it was great.”

“I don’t see [an official reunion] happening,” she admitted. “It would be fun, but what would it be about? Think about it. The thing we liked best about the show was that they were 20-somethings and they were their own family. Now, they all have families, so what are we going to watch?”

At the end of January, David Schwimmer appeared on Megyn Kelly Today and explained why he doesn't think a reunion could work.

“Look, the thing is, I just don’t know if I want to see all of us with crutches [and] walkers.

“I doubt it — I really doubt it,” he added. “But thank you for asking, and moving on!”

Courteney Cox hasn't spoken about a Friends reunion for a couple of years, so maybe she's had some time to change her mind, because sadly back in 2015 she was pretty sure it wouldn't happen.

"Let it go," Courteney told Yahoo'd Myself when asked about a reunion. "We're not doing it! It's just not going to happen."

But it seems like she might want it to happen, but is blaming one of the gang for our lack of reunion. She mentioned a "person who flakes" whenever the cast tried to get together.

When asked if she would reveal who the flake was, Courteney remained somewhat cryptic.

"I'm not going to name names, but it may not be [David] Schwimmer."

Okay, so forget the reunion... how about a spin-off?

"Monica is going to do a movie!" she laughed. "It's going to be called Hanging With Monica.

"People will be running to the theatre."

Unfortunately not even our favourite blonde bombshell Gunther wants a reunion.

In 2015, James Michael Tyler said on Good Morning Britain: “I don’t think there will be a reunion. In fact I know the executive producers have shot that idea down. They wrapped up the series really well so I don’t think there’s a need for it.

“I mean, would you really want to watch a TV series about a group of people in their forties still struggling like that? That would be a tragedy not a comedy!”

Maggie Wheeler has said thinks a reunion would be fun to do but it's unlikely that it will ever happen.

Booooooooooooo.

Speaking to Today Extra, Maggie said: "I think a reunion in many ways would be great fun and a wonderful celebration but it is unlikely to happen.

"I think we will have to just keep watching and imagining how this whole thing would be spun out if we had the chance to do it today."
