When the show dropped the first instalment of its fourth season on 29 January, we have been swept up in the drama and intrigue as second son Benedict grapples with his feelings for the Lady in Silver (actually maid Sophie Baek!) who he met at a masked ball.
(As an aside: for anyone who grew up watching A Cinderella Story ft Hilary Duff and Chad Michael Murray, yep, the premise of this season is doubly enthralling.)

Who is Yerin Ha?
Yerin Ha is an Australian actress who was born in 1998 in Sydney Australia, to South Korean parents.
She's been developing her craft for yeeeeears, studying at Seoul's Kaywon High School of Arts from the age of 15, before going onto graduate from Sydney's prestigious drama school, the National Institute of Dramatic Art in 2018.
Since graduating, she's been racking up a pretty impressive list of acting credits in TV.
Who does Yerin Ha play in Bridgerton?
Yerin plays Sophie Baek in season 4 of Bridgerton. Sophie is the love interest of Benedict Bridgerton and a series lead. She first makes contact with Benedict while in disguise as the 'Lady in Silver' and is hiding the fact she is a maid. Oh, the intrigue!
Fun fact: this season is based off of the book An Offer from a Gentleman in Julia Quinn's Bridgerton series. In the book series, Sophie's second name is Beckett, but showrunner Jess Browne changed Sophie's surname to Baek in the show to reflect Yerin's heritage.

Yerin has spoken about coming into the Bridgerton universe, praising her character's depth and mental resolve.
“What drew me to Sophie as a character was her strong moral compass," she told Tudum. "She doesn’t change who she is for anybody else. She is faced with a lot of obstacles, but she moves through them with such grace and kindness.”

Yerin has been acting professionally since 2019, starting with an appearance in a Sydney Theatre Company production of Lord of the Flies alongside Mia Wasikowska.
Since then, she appeared in six episodes of French-American crime show Reef Break as Technie Jane; starred in the Australian crime drama Troppo; snagged the role of Kwan Ha in the Paramount Plus adaptation of video game Halo; acted as the scholarship student Alice in the Australian drama show Bad Behaviour, about an exclusive boarding school (this one is now on BBC iPlayer, btw); appeared in the HBO Dune prequel show Dune: Prophecy as a young version of the character Kasha; and starred as Mia Chang in the Australian Netflix show The Survivors.
