Jade and Amanda from The Traitors just revealed their secret connection, and OMG! Was there anyone in the castle that didn't know each other before the show?!

Theorists were only spurred on by the family tree that sat at the entrance to the Scottish castle that the game is played in. The family tree painting depicted all 22 of the contestants and the edges were inscribed with words in Latin.

As fans know now, there was some truth to the theory - Ross and Ellie revealed they were in a relationship, while Roxy revealed as she was leaving the castle that Judy is her adoptive mother.

Now, Jade and Amanda have revealed they also had a secret connection before the show - but only discovered it after leaving the castle. Amanda, a 57-year-old Retired Police Detective from Brighton, and Jade, a 25-year-old PhD student from the West Midlands clashed during their time in the castle, with Amanda consistently accusing Jade of being a Traitor.

And while they both turned out to be Faithful, they have another thing in common - as they revealed in a recent Instagram video.

"So, back in the 90s, way before you were born, I was a uniform police officer, and I used to work at Islington police station," Amanda tells Jade in the video. "And one of my favourite people to go out on patrol [with] was a guy called Jonathan. And Jonathan and I used to go out in our car, on the beat, and catch criminals [in] life or death situations, stuff like that. And, there's a bit of a connection... What is it Jade?"

Jade then replies, "This Jonathan is actually my boyfriend's dad! What are the chances? I messaged [Amanda] after the show like, 'Where did you work?'"

Amanda says, "It's just the biggest coincidence in the whole world. The best thing about all of this is he was my favourite person when I was a young cop. He was brilliant."
