Not only are Jonathan Ross and Alan Carr forever bound by being Traitors together in the current series of The Celebrity Traitors, but it also turns out that they might even be related. What?!

OK, so we're half way through the first UK series of The Celebrity Traitors, and watching the likes of Celia Imrie and Stephen Fry trying to figure out who's Faithful and who's a Traitor each evening.

And while the famous faces hopelessly try to banish the suspicious celebs at the round tables, Jonathan and Alan previously appeared on a podcast together, and revealed they believe they're actually related.

Back in 2022, Jonathan was on Alan's Life's A Beach podcast, where they spoke about how they both have family ties to Margate in Kent.

Alan told Jonathan, "People might not know this, but your lovely late mum came up to me at your Halloween party and said, 'We're related, aren't we?' Do you remember?"

He continued, "I was so excited because we come from the same area. We are distantly related and I remember going over to you saying, 'Jonathan, your mum says we're related' and you went, 'for f*** sake.'

Jonathan replied jokingly, "I tried to stop her talking to people because she'd always find some famous connection. It is quite a strong link."

He later added, "I saw your episode of Who Do You Think You Are? and you've got a deserter in your family, and I don't know if I want to be tarnished by that much Alan Carr."

Alan replied, "I know this deserter. And then because they lead it out there, so we survived the Battle of the Somme, the Battle of the Bolges."

Related by their history and their treachery, it seems.
