The 29-year-old, who was born in South Africa but raised in New Zealand, took part in the ninth season of a dating show called Are You The One? back in 2023. Filmed in Gran Canaria, Spain, the show brought together 22 singletons from all around the world.

Julia-Ruth hit it off with Aussie hunk Brendan Mosca, although the pair went their separate ways after the show ended.

Soap opera appearance

While she lived in New Zealand, Julia-Ruth featured in a popular medical drama called Shortland Street. She was cast as Hannah Drake, the girlfriend of a paramedic called Theo. She featured in three episodes of the show, which were filmed in 2020.

Her professional dancer career

Julia-Ruth is a woman of many talents, one being dancing. Her biggest claim-to-fame is performing with 50Cent as part of his tour in London.

You’ll also spot her in the music video for Too Many Woman by Jordan Adetunji and Kwn or I’m The Drama by Bebe Rexha.

Some of her performances have even been broadcast on TV, such as her appearance dancing with Leigh-Anne at Reading and Leeds festival this summer. We’re impressed!
