Married at First Sight UK continues, and more couples are tying the knot with each passing day. On Wednesday night, we saw Maeve and Joe exchange vows.
So, who are the happy couple?
Well, 29-year-old Maeve is an aesthetics practitioner from Newcastle and a proud mother to her son Archie.
She's looking for a mature relationship and is looking for help from the experts to bring down her walls to help her be vulnerable with a partner.
31-year-old Joe is a personal trainer from Huddersfield who spent most of his twenties travelling abroad and partying but has now reformed his life.
We can see why these two were paired up based on their descriptions but, when they met at the altar, Maeve's unconventional choices - wearing a black dress to her wedding, arriving on a horse - rubbed Joe the wrong way.
The series was filmed earlier this year, so a lot of time has passed since the MAFS UK weddings.
So, are Maeve and Joe still together?

What has happened with Maeve and Joe on MAFS UK 2025 so far?
Despite seeming like a good match on paper, Maeve and Joe got off to a rocky start at the altar.
Maeve, for her part, was initially pleased by the match, based on physical appearance: “He’s in the top five fittest men I have ever seen, the experts have done really well. He's got a lovely smile, he's covered in tattoos."
She even noted that she was struggling to make eye contact with Joe due to how attractive she found him.
Joe, however, was off-put by Maeve's decision to wear a black dress and ride into the ceremony on horseback: “I certainly didn’t expect her riding in on a horse, wearing a black dress. I thought you were meant to wear black for a funeral, not a wedding.”
He also had some concerns about whether their personalities would clash.“My first impressions of Maeve is her big, brash personality," he said. "I get the vibe that she’d be a bit of a party girl. She’s very lively, very bubbly, I think she’s going to be a bit of a handful, so that is a worry.”
Immediately after the ceremony, Maeve felt like Joe was "ticking" all her boxes, however, Joe's perspective was less positive.
“I’m still trying to work things out. Maeve says she was desperate for a drink [during the ceremony] but, for me, the party lifestyle is a thing of the past. I’m not sure if Maeve is my type.”
Joe's uncertainty seemed to intensify during the reception, as he observed Maeve's vibrant nature.
"I have probably been with someone like Maeve before, but Maeve is probably [like that but] times fifty. It scares me to be honest," Joe explained in a confessional.
When asked by Maeve’s friend what he thought when he saw Maeve walk down the aisle, Joe took a while to respond. When he did reply, after a heavy silence, his response was reticent: “I wasn’t a hundred percent sure. The black dress threw me off and because we were both nervous we didn’t make eye contact. So it was hard to vibe.”
Joe also began to worry about their compatibility when Maeve admitted she was prone to becoming "argumentative" when drunk.
"In past relationships I’ve had argumentative girlfriends when they’re drunk, it’s just something I never thought I’d get myself involved with again," he said, in a camera confessional.
When discussing Joe with her friends, Maeve also shared her concerns. "What I get off him straight away is that he’s a bit more mature than me and he’s had his wild time and he’s calmed down a bit."
However, she admitted that she would consider pairing back her party lifestyle for Joe.
When speaking in a confessional, Maeve shared her hope about building a bond with Joe. "I would love to show Joe that vulnerable side of me but I’m a bit apprehensive because I’ve been hurt so much, and I’m not sure what my husband is thinking of me."
Are Maeve and Joe from MAFS UK still together?
It's not yet known if Maeve and Joe decided to stay together after the show.
Currently, though, they don't appear to be following each other Instagram.
The teaser for next week’s episode see Joe and Maeve on their honeymoon, and things appear to have gotten fiery quickly. A snippet sees Maeve saying “you’re p*ssing me off” and leaving Joe alone at table.
