It's official! Strictly Come Dancing is finally returning to our screens this weekend, with the first live show airing on Saturday night (27 September), but what time is the episode actually on?
Last weekend saw the launch of the first episode, where we saw each celebrity paired up with a professional dancer, and viewers also got a glimpse at the pairs in action as they took to the dance floor for the first time. And this weekend we'll get to see the pairs do their first dance together in the show's first live episode.
Every episode of Strictly Come Dancing varies on what time it airs, and so here's everything you need to know about what time the episode is on this weekend.
What time is Strictly Come Dancing on TV this Saturday night?
This week's episode of Strictly Come Dancing will air at 6:55pm BST on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on Saturday 27 September.
The episode will air after the BBC News and run for two hours and 30 minutes finishing at 9:25pm BST, and will be followed by drama series Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue.
If you don't catch the episode live, it will be uploaded to BBC iPlayer shortly after.
Why isn't the show airing on Sunday night this week?
Usually following the live show on Saturday night, the results show airs on the Sunday evening which showcases the result of the public vote and sees the two least popular couples compete for their place on the show in a dance-off.
However, this week the episode is not scheduled to appear on Sunday night as there will be no public vote this week.
Traditionally the first week of Strictly sees all the contestants go through to week two and the public vote opening up in the second week of the show. However, they will still face the judges and receive a score out of 10 from each judge during the show on Saturday night.
Get your sequins ready, Strictly is back!
