We're just a few days away from Glen Powell's latest movie Hit Man dropping on Netflix, and ahead of the release of the movie on 7th June, Glen and his co-star Adria Arjona have opened up about the rather "unsexy" time they had filming the intimate sex scenes.
Hit Man tells the story of Gary Johnson (Powell), a college professor, turned undercover hit man, who works with the police in order to catch people who have tried to hire an assassin. While working undercover, Gary meets Maddy, who is looking for a hit man to kill her abusive husband, and the pair strike up a serious romantic relationship.
The co-stars appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show earlier this week, where they revealed they developed a rash while filming the sex scenes in the movie.
Speaking on the couch, Adria told Drew, "This will describe Glen really quickly, I'm breaking out in a rash and Glen is freaking out for me. He's like, 'What do you want?' He calls a nurse. This whole thing is happening. He's like, 'Adria, are you fine? Should we postpone this scene?', all this stuff."
She continued, saying: "I was like, 'Dude, have you seen yourself in the mirror?'" she continued. "And he just looks at himself in the mirror. He's like, 'Oh my God, I have it too!' And he had it all over his body, but he was so focused on me."
Adria revealed the pair decided to continue on filming the intimate scenes, but did so with makeup covering the rashes.
"We were like, 'Well, I guess we're just gonna put make-up on it' and we ended up going ahead, and we did all our sex scenes with this rash, which wasn't very sexy because it was more like 'Cut!' and we were both like 'Get off of me!'" she said.
And in another interview with Extra TV, Glen revealed the pair hadn't realised the extent of just how many sex scenes there were in the movie, until they watched it back with their families.
"We were just talking with all the steamy scenes, it wasn't until we watched it with our families, we're like 'man there's a lot of hot scenes in this movie'," Glen explained. "But it was always fun, it was never awkward, never embarrassing, just a blast."
Ok, we're really excited to watch this movie this weekend now.
