Netflix has just dropped the latest season of its reality series At Home With The Furys which gives fans of the boxing family an insight into their day-to-day life, from daily parenting problems to the build-up to Tyson and Paris' eldest child getting engaged.
However, some viewers have been left with questions after spotting some key figures of the family don't make an appearance.
The latest season of the show features Tyson Fury, his wife Paris, their six children, Tyson's brothers, including Tommy Fury, Tyson's dad John Fury and Paris' parents. Molly-Mae Hague fails to make a return to the reality show after appearing in the first season. And one key figure to not make an appearance at all is Tyson's mum Amber.
So why is Tyson's mother not part of the Netflix series? Here's everything you need to know.
Why is Tyson Fury's mum not in At Home With The Furys?
Despite his father John Fury heavily featuring in At Home With The Furys, Tyson Fury's mum Amber does not feature and isn't mentioned in the series.
Tyson and his mother are said to have a good relationship, and the likely reason she doesn't appear in the series is because she is an incredibly private person.
Tyson has previously spoken about his relationship with his mum, saying she's never actually watched any of his fights and prefers to stay out of the limelight.
"I looked on Google the other day and there’s not one picture of my mother on the internet. That’s crazy isn’t it?" Fury told the Irish Mirror. "She has never been to one of my boxing fights, amateur or professional and never been in the public eye at all. She’s a private person. That’s her priority, not mine."
He continued: "I don’t think it means anything to my mum. She doesn’t care if I’m world champion or not, as long as I’m healthy and happy. That is the only thing that means anything to her. You could give my mother that table full of £50 notes and diamonds and it wouldn’t change who she is, ever. Money can’t change certain individuals; nothing can. You could give her the power to run the UK, it wouldn’t matter, it wouldn’t change her."
As well as never watching any of Tyson's fight, Amber also reportedly does not understand the level of fame Tyson has achieved over his life.
Writing in his auto-biography, Behind The Mask, Tyson said: "To be honest, my mum doesn't fully understand what I have achieved as a boxer.
"I took her out shopping one time after the Wilder fight and I was being stopped for photographs and autographs everywhere I went in Manchester and she couldn't understand it. I had to explain to her that I was the heavyweight champion of the world and a lot of people had watched me and supported me. That was actually very special."
It has not been officially confirmed why Amber was not part of At Home With The Furys, but given she's previously wanted to keep her life private and isn't part of Tyson's boxing career it would make sense why she hasn't appeared.
Tyson is one of Amber and John Fury's sons and he is half-brothers with Tommy Fury, as the pair share the same dad John, but have different mothers.
