Kim Kardashian just revealed the sweet advice Mason Disick gave North West over having a step parent, after Kourtney Kardashian got engaged to Travis Barker.
The new series of The Kardashians has followed Kourtney and Travis's relationship closely, revealing everything from how they met (and who made the first move) to their IVF journey and engagement.
Now, Kim Kardashian has revealed she overheard Kourtney's eldest son Mason, 12, sharing some words of wisdom with her daughter North, 8, over what it's like having a blended family, and welcoming your mum's new partner into your life.
Recounting the conversation to Kris Jenner, Kim said, "Mason goes, 'Can you drop me off at Travis's studio later?' He asked... He was like, 'It's so cool.' And he was telling North, like, they have these bikes and it's just like, so fun. And his tune has totally changed since the engagement."
According to Kim, Mason advised North, "You know, getting a stepdad isn't so bad." He added, "They're not these evil people like you see in the movies. It's just not like that.' The way he was talking to her just gave me the feeling of like, 'Everything's gonna work out. Everything's gonna be okay."
Kourtney and Scott Disick had an on and off relationship for 10 years, and share three children - Mason, Penelope, 9, and Reign, 7. They split for good in 2015, while she started dating Travis in October 2020.
Kim, meanwhile, was married to Kanye West from 2014 to 2022, when she announced their split. They share four children - North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 2. Kim is now in a relationship with SNL comedian Pete Davidson. Wait, does that make him a step dad?!
