As you will know if you've been on the internet for absolutely any time at all today SNL star, comedian and the new Mr Kim Kardashian, Pete Davidson, has rejoined Instagram after a four year hiatus from all social media. Well, while we were busy obsessing over the fact that he follows only two people (and one of them is a bit confusing), some fans were speculating about why exactly the star has rejoined the platform after all these years. Here's their pretty convincing theory.
Back in 2018 Pete Davidson deleted his Instagram, Twitter and everything else explaining that it simply just didn't make him feel good anymore. Then, all of a sudden, late last night Davidson reappeared on the platform and the internet promptly lost it.
But while we were all trying to get to the bottom of a new account with zero posts some fans were asking the more important questions; why now? And others were coming up with one very convincing reason that might be why Pete is back on Instagram.
All it took was a little glance at Kim Kardashian's Twitter, where the business mogul has just revealed her brand new Skims Boyfriend range. So, with that in mind, fans began calling for the couple to model the range themselves, and speculating that perhaps this was the reason Pete rejoined social media.
"Kim K released a line of SKIMS called "Boyfriend." Pete Davidson just joined Instagram. Calling it right now: One of his first posts will be modelling SKIMS," one fan tweeted. Another wrote, "Here’s an idea Kimberly, redo this ad but make it you and Pete," and someone else commented, "This would have been the perfect opportunity for a Kim and Pete shoot."
We've seen a lot of theories in our time, but this, this makes perfect sense.
