It’s hard to imagine a time before Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s PDA-filled relationship didn’t take centre stage every time we opened Instagram or scrolled through Twitter. With their goth-gf and pop-punk boyfriend image (and their mirror image best mates, Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly) the rockstar relationship is pretty much always all over social media, and it doesn’t look like they’re going to retreat from the love-filled limelight any time soon. In her latest Instagram post, Kourtney reminded us that she and Travis go way back, prompting the same response from fans.
We’re all so busy being wrapped up in this modern-day fairytale that it’s easy to forget Kourtney and Travis had only been ‘officially’ dating for under a year before becoming engaged. And yesterday, we were reminded of that after Kourtney took to Instagram to post a couple of throwback photos - two snaps of her with Travis in the background *before* they were an item. The Poosh founder simply captioned it ‘June 2018’, and fans went crazy, with lots of them making the same comment about the post.
One notable comment was from Kourtney's best friend Sarah Howard, who aptly wrote, “foreshadowing” as if she was predicting the KUWTK star and musician’s future relationship. And amongst Travis’s simple but powerful “Soulmates” message, other Kourtney fans were flooding the comment section with their own thoughts:
One fan wrote, “Friends to lovers ❤️” while another typed “A beautiful full circle moment”. And amongst the many heart and fire emojis, everyone seemed to be saying the exact same thing, that the two were “meant to be” together.
