Despite the initial uncertainty over Kim Kardashian's Saturday Night Live hosting gig, the Skims founder was a huge hit on the comedy show (plus it was the start of her basically iconic relationship with Pete Davidson). Not one member of her family was safe - she even called Corey a gold digger, it was quite something. However, she recently revealed a joke about Khloé and Tristan Thompson that was actually cut from the gig.
"Everyone in the family was just like, 'You can do whatever you want'," Kim told i-D in a recent cover interview. "Everyone was really easy and game for me to do whatever I wanted. Although I had a really funny joke about Tristan and Khloé that I took out – I could've maybe gone further."
She continued, "But everyone was like, 'Use me. Do whatever you want. This is your time.' They were down. That was super cool."
Elsewhere in the interview she explained how making ruthless jokes about her family on SNL was basically no different to what they all do at home anyway.
"I think people might not get that we’re absolutely in on the joke," she explained. "We always have been ... We have a sense of humour. We roast each other as a family all day long. None of us are sensitive to it.
"I wanted people to see a part of my personality that all my friends know, that everyone close to me knows," she continued. "But you know, SNL was a completely different audience for me. It was my opportunity. I wanted to show people that this is funny, and this is a big side of my personality too. And it was fun."
