Scott Disick is facing backlash on Twitter after he shared a very intimate picture of his girlfriend Amelia Hamlin on his Instagram Story, showing her only wearing a bra and thong. The Talentless star is being met with criticism on social media from fans who called out Disick for posting "lewd" and "creepy" images of his much younger girlfriend, and highlighting the 19-year age difference between the pair.
In early June Hamlin posted a series of pictures on Instagram showing her posing in pink lace underwear in front of a bookcase, along with the caption, "another day another sultry set of lingerie from @bouxavenue #designedinlondon."
Shortly after she shared the series of pictures, on 6 June her boyfriend Scott Disick posted another picture to his own Instagram Story showing Hamlin in the same lingerie but with her back to the camera, reaching up to the top shelf on the bookcase. He captioned the image, "A little higher, almost there" and tagged his girlfriend Hamlin in the post.
It didn't take long for the backlash to start over on Twitter, with several users calling out the 38-year-old for sharing a "creepy" and "uncomfortable" image of his 19-year-old girlfriend.
The pair have been together since November 2020, and have faced several controversies throughout that time. From criticism over the vast age difference between the two to reports that her parents, Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin don't approve of the relationship and are hoping it's "just a phase."
While Scott has not responded to this particular criticism, he did speak about dating younger women during the Keeping Up With The Kardashians reunion show. When asked about his previous relationships by host Andy Cohen, Scott said that the idea he only dates younger women is a "misconception".
"Everybody gets this wrong that I look for young girls," he said. "I don't go out looking for young girls, they happen to be attracted to me 'cause I look young," at which point Kris Jenner jumped in to defend him, adding: "You tell 'em, Scott."
