Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander's doppelgänger appeared on University Challenge last night (September 11), and Harry Potter fans found it hilarious.
Adam Lowery, part of Newcastle University's team, looked like he'd taken style tips from Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them character Newt, with his suit and bow tie combo.
Naturally, viewers clocked this quite quickly and soon everyone was noticing the likeness to the famous Harry Potter character and magizoologist. Amazing.
One wrote: "Newt Scamander was a terrible choice of team mate. His knowledge is very niche."
Harry Potter fans can turn everything into a reference to the franchise, can't they?
