When you're out drinking, how do you know when to stop drinking? Have you well and truly learnt your limits? Do you have that one sensible friend who politely tells you to give up and go home? Or is the idea of stopping before things get out of hand an alien one to you?
If you're the last guy, this one is for you...
A new gadget has been designed that can tell you when to stop drinking. Hallelujah.
It's called Backtrack Skin - a wristband that measures the levels of ethanol escaping through your skin and, when those levels reaches a certain limit, it alerts you to put down that vodka, soda, lime, head to McDonalds and go to bed. Well, no health technology would recommend McDs but you get the gist.
The technology has won an award from the National Institute of Health and the designers are planning to release the Backtrack Skin later this year.
That's our secret santa sorted!
