In an upcoming episode of Molly-Mae: Behind It All, the new docu-series about influencer and designer Molly-Mae Hague, Molly-Mae can be seen getting upset when talking about how alcohol impacted her relationship with ex-partner, Tommy Fury.

In one moving clip, Molly-Mae opens up to her mum, Debbie, and admits she even begged Tommy not to drink on her sister Zoe's wedding day, which they attended with their daughter Bambi.

Speaking to a new Men's Health podcast, Tommy shared that his struggles with alcohol stemmed from a boxing injury which left him unable to train and impacted his mental health. He also said that rumours he'd cheated on Molly-Mae were false and extremely hurtful.

"There were exterior issues going on for him that was causing our relationship to have problems," Molly-Mae told her mother. "It's drinking, isn't it?"

In the series, Molly-Mae also reflects on how she has "never been around alcohol in a positive light", referring to her mother's at-times difficult relationship with alcohol while she was growing up.

Speaking further about Tommy, Molly-Mae explained, "He wanted a family life but also have the life of a 25-year-old boy with no responsibilities, and the two don't go hand-in-hand. It got to the point where I wasn't looking forward to anything because alcohol affected it so much."

Everyone's clicking on...

She continued on to say, "I literally pleaded with Tommy, like I begged him to not drink [at the wedding], and I don't know, it's really sad. I don't know why I'm crying now. It's just so sad. It just like affected me. That's why my relationship with alcohol is so damaged."

Speaking with Zoe in a later point of the programme, Molly-Mae also shared that she suspects she does not know the full truth behind some of Tommy's actions and said she would have people messaging her believing rumours, such as Tommy having got another woman pregnant.

"I've become so much more aware of things going on that I was so naive to for so long. I still don't think I know the full picture," she said. "I think there's a lot I don't know."

Molly-Mae: Behind it All is available on Prime Video from 17 January
