Model and mum-of-three Ashley Graham has taken to Instagram to share an empowering photo with her 19.3 million followers, opening up about learning to love the parts of her body that have changed – particularly since welcoming twins earlier this year.

"Hi new tummy", Ashley wrote in the caption of an unedited photo of her stomach. "You look very different from what I'm use[d] to. But I do appreciate you", she added alongside a love heart emoji.

Earlier this year, the 35-year-old spoke out about the body confidence challenges that come with postpartum life. "Like so many women, what I went through with childbirth has reshaped my relationship with my body," she told Glamour. "I say this knowing that I am the person who has been shouting from the rooftops to you all, 'Love the skin you’re in.' Yet for me, the births of all my three children threw a lot of that out of the window."

"I was plunged into the postpartum experience — the handbook that no one can give you," she recalled, adding that in 2019 after the birth of her first son, Isaac, she "obsessed over 20 pounds that just wouldn’t come off". It's a feeling that she experienced once again, with a heightened sense, after welcoming her twins. "The aftermath was deeply overwhelming," she explained. "I was a wreck, and when I saw myself in the mirror, I still felt like I looked pregnant."

Now, almost a year on from the twins' birth, it seems that Ashley's found her mojo once more – and we couldn't be happier for her!
