We've all seen Khloe Kardashian showing off her slim figure in the recent weeks. In fact, the 32-year-old reality star claims to have lost 35 pounds. But, how?

On her personal app, Khloe puts her weight loss down to one workout outfit choice – her sauna suit. But does it actually work and what even is it anyway?

'Sauna suits aren't very expensive because they're 'trash bag' material,' Khloe wrote. 'You can buy a top and pants, but they're sold separately. I wear just the jacket, but I have worn both before. They supposedly insulate your heat and elevate your body temperature so they double, or triple, the amount you would sweat.'

The idea of purposefully increasing sweat levels during exercise isn't new to the workout scene. But does it work? By sweating more, you loose more water weight which can give the appearance of rapid weight loss. However, the weight will reappear as soon as you rehydrate.

And it's not a good idea to be dehydrated whilst you're exercising in the first place, as this can affect your health and performance. In extreme circumstances, it can even lead to heat stroke, which can be potentially life threatening.

For now, we think we'll stick to leggings and t-shirts when we hit the gym. Let's face it, we sweat enough as it is.
