Khloe Kardashian has given an insight into her newest gym routine, and it’s got something about the retro vibe about it.

In recent times, fans of Keeping Up With The Kardashians have admitted to boycotting the family's show due to an increasingly prevalent storyline in this season: Kim and Khloé Kardashian's weight loss. But despite these worries, Khloe continues to talk about mental health, using a surrogate to welcome her second child, and yes, her workout routines.

The 38-year-old star posted a series of videos on her Instagram story yesterday (12 December) which detailed the gym sets she does with her personal trainer, Donamatrix.

Donamatrix is a celebrity fitness guru, who has trained with multiple members of the Kardashian’s, alongside other celebrities including singer Fergie and basketballer Kobe Bryant.

Now Khloe has shown what their up to date gym routine looks like, and it includes lots of weights and cardio. Sharing a total of six short videos, Khloe can be seen demonstrating said exercises with brief instructions on the number of reps and sets she does for each.

Her routine also includes her doing 10 rounds on a rowing machine – which we think is a *pretty* old school trusted form of exercise. Of course, it's a top of the range Hydrow rower though - We know, we've reviewed it!

Let’s break it down for you below.

In video number one, we see Khloe on the rowing machine. But first she does a “10 minute stair warm up.” Although she didn’t give any specific level as to what she was training at (and, probably for good reasons) she says: “Pick a level that is challenging but steady [for you].”

Khloe then acknowledges her rowing machine routine. “2 mins on the rower 10 times. We do weight lifting sets in between.” So, if we have it right, it’s two minutes on the rowing machine, move on to weighted sets (as described below), *then* back on to the rower for 2 minutes, back on to weights – done 10 times, phew!

In Khloe’s second story, we see her doing assisted weighted bench presses. To match Khloe, you’ll want to do 20 sets of bench press, five times. Again, no exact weight was given, but perhaps listen to your body or ask for advice from someone who works at your gym. After all, every person is different and capable of different things when it comes to working out with weights.

The third story shows Khloe doing squats using weights and a rack for extra support. Keeping it honest, Khloe wrote: “We did some sets of 20 and some sets of 10 weighted squats. My legs were dying.” It’s great to see Khloe pushing herself, but not overdoing it either – alternate your sets to match how you feel.

Next we see Khloe absolutely killing it using an ab roller. “20 ab rolls. 10 fully extended, 10 pulses.” You’ll want to do this routine five times, according to Khloe. She reminds her followers: “Remember we do 2 minutes of rowing between every rep.” – as first mentioned, and which we see in the next video. “2 mins between each set,” is captioned on another video of Khloe on a rowing machine.

And lastly, in the sixth video, Khloe is doing 20 weighted lunges. You’ll want to do these five times.

Got it? If not, below is Khloe’s gym workout broken down. And personally, we are refreshed by how classic and simple it is, not requiring anything you can’t find in your local gym. Enjoy!
