Katy Perry has been pretty open about her pregnancy over the last few months, whether she's telling us about her swollen hands and feet or her growing belly button, she's been very honest about the whole thing. Now, she's spoken in interview about the nickname she and Orlando have given to their daughter who is due to be born any day now.
Speaking to The Guardian's Laura Snapes, Perry talks about how the baby and the release of her fifth studio album, Smile, were due to all come on the same day until production delays meant the record would move to the end of August. And while telling this story Perry refers to her daughter as "Kicky Perry," saying that is what she and Bloom call her. Clearly, that's some nice harmless fun, but is it just me or does that name have a nice ring to it?
Last month Perry celebrated her baby bump in a gorgeous nude shoot for her latest music video, and told an Australian radio show that she has a newfound appreciation for her body, having seen all the things it's capable of. "I’m really grateful for my body, and I have so much respect for other women going through this process. You get a whole new viewpoint being pregnant."
