These are the 7 best formulas I have foundation from high end to drugstore that will guarantee your makeup lasts all day, without making you look like a cake face.

Best foundation for oily skin: Giorgio Armani
Giorgio Armani Power Fabric Foundation, £40
Best for: A glowy finish
Giorgio Armani are known for their seriously luminous foundations (there's a reason Kim K is a big fan). But sadly luminous finishes and oily skin don't make the best match.
Armani's new Power Fabric foundation changes all that. It's a full coverage, long-wear foundation, that doesn't feel, or look full coverage and leaves your skin with just the right amount of glow.
Best foundation for oily skin: L'Oréal
L'Oréal Infallible Total Cover Foundation, £9.99
Best for: On a budget
Coming in at under £10 L'Oréal's Infallible Total Cover Foundation is a complete steal but just because it's cheaper, doesn't mean it's not just as good as its more expensive counterparts.
This will cover redness and spots no problem and the mousse like consistency means a tiny amount goes a long way.
Best foundation for oily skin: Tom Ford
Tom Ford Waterproof Foundation/Concealer, £66
Best for: Multi-tasking as concealer
£66 is a lot to invest in a foundation, but when Tom Ford's Waterproof Foundation Concealer doubles as a two in one, it makes it worth the splurge.
I was scared this foundation would be super high coverage, being a concealer as well, but I was pleasantly surprised by how seamlessly it blended with my skin. Plus the waterproof formula makes it perfect for the sweaty summer months to come.
Best foundation for oily skin: Dior
Dior Diorskin Forever foundation, £35
Best for: Lightweight feel
Most long-wear foundations feel extremely heavy on the skin but Dior's Forever foundation is an exception to that.
With it's impressive 16-hour wear time you would expect this to feel like glue on your skin. But it actually felt surprisingly lightweight, even though it gave my skin the most beautiful airbrushed finish.
While 16-hours might be a bit of a stretch, this is definitely a foundation that you can wear comfortably all day at work, without worrying it will have worn off by lunchtime.
Best foundation for oily skin: Too Faced
Too Faced Born This Way Foundation, £29
Best for: Long-lasting formula
I can testify that Too Faced's Born This Way foundation lasts all day, because I have just worn it to two weddings and I didn't need to touch up my makeup at all.
This high coverage foundation is great for covering redness and giving a flawless finish, without looking like you are caked in makeup.
Best foundation for oily skin: Pür
Pür Bare It All Foundation, £29
Best for: A natural finish
Long-wear makeup isn't usually great for the skin but Pür's Bare It All foundation is formulated with agave extract, green tea, ginseng and B vitamins which help to moisturise and plump the skin.
Skincare benefits aside, this foundation gives some serious coverage, without drying your skin out and the demi-matte finish leaves your skin looking like skin.

Kat Von D Lock-It Foundation, £27
Best for: Full coverage
Kat Von D's Lock-It Foundation is my tried and true whenever I have to take photos in the Cosmopolitan Beauty Booth. It gives the most flawless, full coverage finish of any foundation I've tried and photographs beautifully.
Whenever I wear this I can guarantee that someone will always ask me what foundation I'm wearing. Whilst it may not be the most natural of finishes, it does make you look flawless AF.
