When it comes to product recommendations, makeup artist Lisa Eldridge is one of our most trusted.

Not only does she provide some of the most in-depth tutorials on YouTube, but she also keeps up her day job, most recently working with Dua Lipa, Keira Knightley and Rosie Huntington Whiteley.

Did we mention she has her own lipstick line as well?

In her most recent tutorial, Lisa shared her "natural glowy makeup look for meeting friends" and it might have just inspired us to actually make an effort with our appearance for the first time in months.

While we're keen to experiment, we're also on a budget, thankfully Lisa used an affordable base for her fresh and dewy look.

Describing it as a "tinted glow," Lisa applied Max Factor's Miracle Second Skin Hybrid Foundation, £12.99. Although it's marketed as a foundation, it is actually more of a skin tint.

Which is why Lisa used it to give her face an overall glow, before adding foundation just to the centre of her face, where she wanted more coverage.

Her foundation of choice? One of my personal all time favourite formulas, Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua.

A woman of good taste.

Lisa also shared a hack for when you can't find any face powder... corn starch. Although, she did warn that it's a wartime beauty trick only to be deployed in an absolute emergency, as over time it's not great for your skin.
