Hair brushes are like partners, you go through a lot of them in life, finding flaws in each before finally settling for your perfect one.
Until one day you start to question whether the hairbrush that has so faithfully served you over the years is really working "the one" and you start the cycle all over again.
That's kind of the stage I'm at right now and just like partners, I'm all for being hooked up by my friends, especially if my "friend" is Andrew Fitzsimons, brand founder and stylist to the world's most famous family.
No, not the Windsor's, the Kardashian/Jenners, duh.
In a recent post on her site Poosh, Kourtney shared Andrew's secrets to shiny hair and of course, I immediately skipped to the part about hairbrushes.
Turns out that one of the reasons my hair is as dull as Harry Potter's personality, is that I'm using completely the wrong one.
Instead, according to Andrew, I should be using a round boar bristle brush, as "it distributes the natural oils and products in your hair, reducing dryness and providing extra shine".
Who knew? Definitely not me, that's for sure.
Andrew's other tip when blow-drying for extra shine? Give your hair a cool shot at the end and you're halfway there to becoming Kourtney herself.
All you need know is a vested interest in organic food, Addison Rae and some iconic catchphrases.
Simple really.
